It's a drama set in the past and is based on a book called The Nickel Boys, written by Colson Whitehead in 2019. The movie was directed by RaMell Ross, who also helped write the story with Joslyn Barnes. It stars Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Ethan Herisse, Fred Hechinger, Hamish Linklater, Brandon Wilson, and Daveed Diggs. This movie will come out in theaters for a short time on October 25, 2024, by Amazon MGM Studios.
