In a part of her new book, a famous actress said that a well-known actor and filmmaker asked her to do something inappropriate on camera for a movie scene that wasn’t planned.
After Rebel Wilson talked about Sacha Baron Cohen being mean to her for mentioning how he treated her in her new book called “Rebel Rising,” People magazine shared a part of the book about that.
The actress wrote that she met Baron Cohen at a dinner party 2013. He then wanted her to act as his character’s girlfriend in a comedy movie called “The Brothers Grimsby,” which he also helped write and make.
She said that Baron Cohen kept asking her to do a naked scene in the movie, but she refused. While filming at a soccer stadium, he allegedly asked her to do something inappropriate on camera, which made her uncomfortable.
She felt scared and didn’t know what to do, so she ended up compromising by slapping him on the butt and making up some lines for the scene.
After that, she told her agent and a lawyer about what happened. They told her to finish the movie professionally.
Later, she had to do more filming, including a sex scene, which she didn’t like. She decided not to promote the movie afterward.
She wrote about this not to harm anyone but to encourage more women to speak up about similar experiences.
Baron Cohen denied her story, saying it wasn’t true and that the scene was planned and in the script.
Wilson’s sister and a friend confirmed that she told them about her experience after filming.
Wilson later posted on Instagram that lawyers or PR managers won’t silence her. She named Baron Cohen the person she was talking about in her book.
