Amy Adams-Starrer ‘Nightbitch’ Sets December 2024 Release Only in Theaters

The movie is about a woman who stays at home to take care of her child. She starts to feel like she’s turning into a dog because being a mom brings out her wild instincts.

It’s called Nightbitch and stars Amy Adams. It will come out in theaters on December 6, 2024, during awards season. The movie was supposed to be on Hulu, but now it will be in theaters.

The director is Marielle Heller, who also made other movies like The Diary of a Teenage Girl and Can You Ever Forgive Me?. Nightbitch is based on a book by Rachel Yoder. It’s a funny and strange story about a woman who thinks she’s becoming a dog.

Marielle Heller and Anne Carey are making the movie, along with Sue Naegle, Christina Oh, and Stacy O’Neil. Amy Adams’ company, Bond Group, is also involved. Annapurna Pictures started working on the movie first.

Marielle Heller said she loved Rachel Yoder’s book when she announced the movie in 2022. She said it reminded her of another book she liked, The Diary of a Teenage Girl. She’s happy to work with Amy Adams on this project, especially during the pandemic.

Marielle Heller’s last movie was A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood in 2019, which got an Oscar nomination for Tom Hanks.
