The story of Noah and Nick, played by Asha Banks (from “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder”) and Matthew Broome (from “The Buccaneers”), is coming to London after being successful in Spain.
Amazon Prime Video has announced a new U.K. film called “My Fault: London.”
This British remake follows the success of the Spanish movie “Culpa Mia (My Fault)” and features English actors Asha Banks and Matthew Broome as the main characters, Noah and Nick. The movie was recently filmed in the U.K.
“My Fault: London” is based on the first book of Mercedes Ron’s bestselling trilogy. In the movie, Noah’s mother, Ella, falls in love with a rich man. They move from America to London to live with him and his son, Nick. Noah, who is 18, meets Nick, who is known as a “bad boy,” and they are immediately attracted to each other. As Noah adjusts to her new life, her father, who has just been released from prison, starts following her secretly.
James Farrell, vice president of international originals at Amazon MGM Studios, said: “We know fans around the world will be excited about this new British remake of the first book of Mercedes Ron’s bestselling trilogy with ‘My Fault: London.’ We’re happy to showcase rising stars Asha Banks and Matthew Broome as Nick and Noah and bring this famous story to life with a British touch.”
