Premise
Two people who don’t know each other, one who takes pictures (Wolff) and one who writes stories (Hale), meet at a friend’s wedding. They talk about moments in their lives that were embarrassing, times when they lost their first loves, and experiences of heartbreak they had before.

Production
Development
In May 2022, they said they were making a movie based on a book called “Which Brings Me To You” by Steve Almond and Julianna Baggott. Keith Bunin is adapting it, and Peter Hutchings is the director. BCDF Pictures is helping make the movie, with Claude Dal Farra and Brian Keady producing. Lucy Hale and Nat Wolff are executive producers, and Sara Castillo and Ayo Kepher-Maat from Decal Releasing are also helping.
In December 2023, Decal Releasing got the rights to distribute the movie. In September 2022, Nat Wolff joined Lucy Hale in the cast. Later that month, John Gallagher Jr., Britne Oldford, Genevieve Angelson, Alexander Hodge, and Chase Liefeld also joined. They filmed the movie in New Jersey in September 2023.
Release
The movie came out in theatres in the United States on January 19, 2024.
