About Unfrosted
Unfrosted is a new funny movie from America. Jerry Seinfeld, who’s famous for being a comedian, directs it. This is his first time directing a big movie. He also helped write the story with his friends Spike Feresten, Barry Marder, and Andy Robin. Seinfeld and Feresten also helped make the movie happen along with Beau Beauman. The movie stars many actors like Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, and others. The story is kind of true, it’s about how Pop-Tarts were invented.

In 1963, Kellogg’s and Post Cereal are trying to make a new and amazing breakfast treat. They are competing in Michigan to see who can make it first.

Production of Unfrosted
In June 2021, Netflix said they would make a movie. Jerry Seinfeld, the comedian, will make it. He will also be in the movie, write it, and help produce it. The movie is based on a funny story Jerry Seinfeld told about Pop-Tarts.
In June 2022, they said more actors would be in the movie. Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, Hugh Grant, and James Marsden will be in it. Hugh Grant sent a video to try out for the movie, which he hasn’t done in a long time.
In August, Maria Bakalova will have a small part in the movie. In February 2024, Bill Burr and Dan Levy joined the cast.
They got permission to film in California in February 2022. They started filming on May 25, 2022, in Los Angeles and would finish on July 1. They also filmed at the University of California, Irvine.
In November 2022, Seinfeld said Netflix people were watching the finished movie. They thought it would come out in early 2023, but it didn’t. In January 2024, Jim Gaffigan went to the Golden Globe Awards to talk about the movie.
Music
Christophe Beck will make the music for the movie. Meghan Trainor and Jimmy Fallon made a song for the movie called “Sweet Morning Heat”.
Release
The movie will come out on Netflix on May 3, 2024.
