About The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare
A new exciting spy movie is on its way! It’s called “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.” Guy Ritchie directs and helps write the movie. The story comes from a book called “Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII” by Damien Lewis, published in 2014.

Plot
This story is about a hidden group in World War II called the Special Operations Executive. Winston Churchill started it, and they fought differently against the Nazis. Their actions greatly impactedmpact on the war and led to the start of modern secret operations.

Production
In 2015, Paramount Pictures got the rights to a book called “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare: How Churchill’s Secret Warriors Set Europe Ablaze and Gave Birth to Modern Black Ops” by Damien Lewis. In February 2021, Guy Ritchie agreed to direct the movie, and the script was written by Arash Amel, with Jerry Bruckheimer producing. In October 2022, Henry Cavill and Eiza González were chosen as the main actors, but Paramount backed out.
In February 2023, more actors like Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, and Cary Elwes were announced. In October 2023, Carlos Bardem and Fisher Stevens joined the cast.
They started filming on February 13, 2023, in Antalya, Turkey, and finished in April 2023. On the first day of filming, Lionsgate got the rights to distribute the movie in the U.S., planning to release it widely in 2024. Black Bear International sold international distribution rights to Prime Video for Europe, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, India, and pan-Asian pay TV. Prime Video will also directly distribute the film in the UK and Ireland.
Release
A new movie called “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” will come out in the United States on April 19, 2024, and it will be released by Lionsgate.
