About The Long Game
The Long Game is a movie that came out in 2023. It’s based on a book called Mustang Miracle, written by Humberto G. Garcia in 2010. Julio Quintana directed the movie. Some of the actors in it are Jay Hernandez, Julian Works, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Brett Cullen, Oscar Nuñez, Paulina Chávez, Gregory Diaz IV, José Julián, Cheech Marin, and Dennis Quaid.
The movie will be shown in theaters in the United States on April 12, 2024, by Mucho Mas Media.
Plot
The Long Game is a real story about the San Felipe Mustangs. They were a bunch of Mexican-American kids from Del Rio, Texas. In the 1950s, they wanted to play golf at a country club for white people in their town. Even though people treated them unfairly, the Mustangs didn’t give up. They worked hard and eventually became the champions of Texas in 1957.

In June 2022, they said Jay Hernandez, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Dennis Quaid, and Julian Works will be in the movie.
Release
The Long Game was first shown at South by Southwest on March 12, 2024. It will come out in theaters by Mucho Mas Media on April 12, 2024.
