Production
In May 2022, it was said that Susan Sarandon, Bette Midler, and Megan Mullally would be in a movie. Jocelyn Moorhouse will direct the movie. She wrote the script with Jenna Milly and Ann Marie Allison. In October 2022, Sissy Spacek also joined the movie. A company called Bleecker Street will help to release the film.
In October 2023, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Bruce Greenwood, and Timothy V. Murphy joined the movie. Sheryl Lee Ralph replaced Sissy Spacek because she had other things to do at that time. They started taking pictures for the film in September 2023 in Savannah, Georgia. They agreed with a group called SAG-AFTRA to start taking pictures.
