Suncoast is a movie about growing up in America. It was made in 2024 and is the first movie directed by Laura Chinn. The main actors are Laura Linney, Nico Parker, and Woody Harrelson. Laura Chinn wrote the story, and it was recognized in 2020 as part of the Black List. The movie is based on Laura Chinn’s own experiences in the early 2000s.
The movie first showed at the Sundance Film Festival on January 21, 2024. After that, people in the United States could watch it on Hulu starting from February 9, 2024, thanks to Searchlight Pictures.

This is a story about a young woman’s life and how she grows up. She has a brother who is very sick, and the story is based on actual events from the author’s life.

Production
In August 2022, they said that Harrelson, Linney, and Parker would be in a movie. Searchlight Pictures will show the film.
They started taking pictures for the movie on September 20, 2022, in Charleston, South Carolina. But they had to stop because of Hurricane Ian. They began retaking pictures in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, in October 2022.
They finished working on the movie in late 2023.
Release
The movie was first shown at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival in a competition on January 21, 2024. After that, it became available to watch online in the United States on February 9, 2024, on Hulu, thanks to Searchlight Pictures.
