Production of Strange Darling
Miramax said they started making a movie in Portland, Oregon in 2022. The director, JT Mollner, is using his script. The main actors are Willa Fitzgerald, Kyle Gallner, Barbara Hershey, Ed Begley Jr. Bill Block, Steve Schneider, and Roy Lee are producing the movie. They filmed the whole thing on 35mm film, and the director of photography was Giovanni Ribisi.
Release
The movie was first shown on September 22, 2023, at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas. In March 2024, Magenta Light Studios got the rights to show the movie in the U.S. They plan to release it in theaters on August 23, 2024.
