Slingshot is a new American science fiction thriller movie. It is directed by Mikael Håfström and written by R. Scott Adams and Nathan Parker. The movie stars Casey Affleck, Laurence Fishburne, Emily Beecham, Tomer Kapon, David Morrissey, and Mark Ebulué.

Production of Slingshot
On November 23, 2021, it was announced that Mikael Håfström would direct a movie written by R. Scott Adams and Nathan Parker. Bluestone Entertainment produced the film. Barry Chusid was in charge of the production design, and Pär M Ekberg was the cinematographer. The cast included Casey Affleck, Laurence Fishburne, Emily Beecham, Tomer Capone, David Morrissey, and Mark Ebulué. Chelsea Ellis Bloch and Marisol Roncali were the casting directors. Filming started on December 1, 2021, at Korda Studios and other places in Budapest, Hungary. Lorne Balfe composed the music for the movie, having worked with Håfström before on “Outside the Wire.”
Release of Slingshot
In February 2024, Bleecker Street got the rights to show the movie in the U.S. The movie will come out in the U.S. on August 30, 2024.
