About Parachute
Parachute is a movie that came out in 2023. It’s a drama film from America, and it’s the first time Brittany Snow directed a movie. She worked on the script with Becca Gleason. Yale Entertainment made the movie and features actors Courtney Eaton and Thomas Mann. Parachute was first shown to the world at the SXSW Film Festival in March 2023. People can watch it in theatres starting on April 5, 2024, thanks to Vertical Entertainment.
Synopsis of Parachute
Riley is a person in their twenties who doesn’t have a job. They recently finished a program to help with their addiction and eating problems. That’s when they meet a friendly person named Ethan.

Production of Parachute
In February 2022, Yale Productions announced a new project called “September 17th.” Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman are producing it, along with Lizzie Shapiro. Brittany Snow is directing and making the movie. She also co-wrote the script with Becca Gleason.
Brittany had the idea for the film when she was in her early twenties. She has talked openly about her struggles with eating disorders. Brittany carefully planned out the “darker” scenes using storyboards to ensure the film handled sensitive scenes well. She wanted to avoid the actor spending too much time criticizing her own body. Brittany explained, “I knew exactly what I wanted in those scenes, the angles I wanted to use, so I didn’t have to make the actor cry all day.” The film’s music was composed by Keegan DeWitt.
Casting
In March 2022, they said Kid Cudi would be part of the project. Then, in June 2022, they told us that Eaton, Mann, Rodríguez, and McHale would definitely be the project’s main characters.
Release
The movie first showed at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin on March 11, 2023. It will appear in certain United States theatres on April 5, 2024.
