A new movie called “Ordinary Angels” is coming soon. It’s a drama film from the United States directed by Jon Gunn. Meg Tilly and Kelly Fremon Craig wrote the story. Hilary Swank, Alan Ritchson, Nancy Travis, and Tamala Jones are the main actors.

Premise

In 1994, a hairdresser heard a true story in Louisville, Kentucky. There was a big snowstorm, and a dad, whose wife had passed away, needed help to save his very sick daughter. The hairdresser asked the people in the town to come together and help.

Production

In March 2022, they said there would be a new movie. It will have actors Swank and Ritchson, and Jon Gunn will be the director. Jon Gunn and Jon Erwin wrote the latest version of the script. Meg Tilly and Kelly Fremon Craig also worked on an earlier version and got credit for writing. They filmed the movie in Winnipeg in April 2022 and in Albany, New York, in June 2022.

Release

Ordinary Angels will come out in theaters on February 23, 2024, thanks to Lionsgate. At first, it was supposed to be out on October 13, 2023, but they changed the date to avoid clashing with Taylor Swift’s concert film, The Eras Tour.
