About Never Let Go
Never Let Go is a scary movie coming soon from America. It’s about surviving something dangerous. Alexandre Aja is the director, and Kevin Coughlin and Ryan Grassby wrote the story. Halle Berry stars in it.
Premise
A mom and her twin boys have been bothered by a mean ghost for a long time. But when one of the boys doesn’t believe in the ghost anymore, it causes big trouble for the family. They have to fight hard to stay safe.

Production
Development
In August 2020, a scary movie script called Mother Land, written by Kevin Coughlin and Ryan Grassby, was bought by Shawn Levy’s company, 21 Laps Entertainment. Lionsgate Films agreed to distribute it. In April 2021, Mark Romanek was chosen to direct the movie. But the next month, Romanek decided not to direct anymore.
Instead, Alexandre Aja was picked to direct, and Halle Berry joined the cast. In June 2022, Lionsgate sold the rights to show the movie in other countries to different companies at the Cannes Film Festival. In April 2023, Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins joined the cast, and the movie’s name was changed to Never Let Go. In May 2024, Matthew Kevin Anderson, Christin Park, and Stephanie Lavigne were also added to the cast.
Filming
Filming happened in Vancouver, Canada from April 17 to June 2, 2023.
Release
Never Let Go will come out in the United States on September 27, 2024. It will take the place of Saw XI.
