My Spy: The Eternal City is a new American spy comedy movie directed by Peter Segal. It’s a follow-up to the 2020 movie My Spy. In this movie, Dave Bautista, Chloe Coleman, Kristen Schaal, and Ken Jeong are back playing the same characters from the first film.

Premise
JJ is convinced to accompany Sophie on her school trip to Italy, where they become involved in a terrorist plot.

Production
In August 2020, Amazon Studios and STXfilms started thinking about making a second movie because the first one did well on Amazon Prime Video. In February 2023, they decided to go ahead with it. Peter Segal will direct again, and actors Dave Bautista, Chloe Coleman, Kristen Schaal, and Ken Jeong will return. New actors Anna Faris, Craig Robinson, and Flula Borg will join them. Filming started in February 2023 and finished in Venice in May 2023.

Release
My Spy: The Eternal City will be released in the United States on July 18, 2024, on Prime Video by Amazon MGM Studios.
