On February 23, 2023, people said that Kelly Rowland would make and act in a legal thriller called “Mea Culpa.” Tyler Perry wrote and directed it. Trevante Rhodes, Sean Sagar, Nick Sagar, and RonReaco Lee will also be in the movie. They took the main pictures on March 6, 2023, in Atlanta at Tyler Perry Studios. They also spent a few days in Chicago. They finished taking photos on March 26.
