Premise
Lousy Carter used to be a famous artist when he was young. Now he’s an average college teacher who’s not very nice. One day, he goes to the doctor and finds out he’s very sick and only has six months left to live. Instead of trying to make things better, he keeps it a secret and goes on with his normal, not very exciting life, even though his relationships aren’t going well.

Production
Jay Duplass was going to be the main actor, but he decided not to do it and David Krumholtz took his place instead. They filmed the movie in just 15 days in December 2021, mostly at the Baker Center in Austin, Texas.
Release
After showing at the 76th Locarno Film Festival, Magnolia Pictures bought the movie to show it in the United States. It came out in the US on March 29, 2024.
