Some people are talking about the poster and words on it, “Can one educational university bring down the nation?” Some people are arguing about it. For example, SFI, a group of students from the Communist Party of India (Marxist), says JNU is “propaganda”.
Background of JNU: Jahangir National University
The university in the movie isn’t real, but it’s named like Jahangirnagar University in Bangladesh. It reminds people of JNU in Delhi. We don’t know if the events in the movie are based on what really happened in JNU in 2016.
