About Cuckoo
Cuckoo is a scary movie made in 2024. Tilman Singer wrote and directed it. It has actors like Hunter Schafer, Jan Bluthardt, Marton Csokas, Jessica Henwick, and Dan Stevens.
The movie first showed at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival on February 16, 2024. It will be released in Germany on July 18, 2024, and in the United States by Neon on August 2, 2024.

Production
In August 2021, it was said that Tilman Singer would make his second movie for Neon. The movie will have Hunter Schafer, John Malkovich, Gemma Chan, and Sofia Boutella. In July 2022, Dan Stevens, Jessica Henwick, Marton Csokas, and Greta Fernández joined the cast. Malkovich and Chan had to leave because of timing issues. The movie “Cuckoo” was made with help from Germany’s Fiction Park and the United States’ Waypoint Entertainment. They filmed in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, for 35 days from May to July 2022. They used 35mm film for the shooting.
Release
Cuckoo had its first showing at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival on February 16, 2024. It was also shown at South by Southwest on March 14, 2024, and at the Overlook Film Festival on April 4, 2024. It will come out in Germany on July 18, 2024, and was supposed to come out in the US on May 3, 2024, but it will now be released on August 2, 2024.
