Premise
When a woman named Eden, who doesn’t have a partner, becomes pregnant after a one-night encounter, she asks her best friend Dawn for support. Dawn is married and has two children.

Production
In June 2022, they said Adlon would direct her first movie. It’s a funny movie about pregnancy. Glazer and Rabinowitz wrote the script. Glazer and Buteau will be in the movie. The next month, they said Lynch, Minhaj, James, Platt, the Lucas Brothers, and Bernhard will also be in the movie. They’re filming it in New York City.
Release
In October 2023, it was said that Neon got the rights to show a movie in the United States. The movie was called Babes. It first showed at a festival called South by Southwest on March 9, 2024. The movie will come out in the United States on May 17, 2024.
