Production
On June 14, 2022, it was announced that Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, and Joey King would be starring in the main roles of the movie. Then, on August 2, 2022, it was said that Kathy Bates and Liza Koshy would also be joining the cast.
The filming of the movie happened in Atlanta from August to October 2022.
Release
A Family Affair was supposed to come out on Netflix on November 17, 2023. But they had to delay it because of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. This strike affected how they could promote the film. Now, they’ve said it will come out on June 28, 2024.
