V. K. Prakash is a movie director and actor from India. He makes movies, music videos, and ads. He mostly works in Malayalam films, but he’s also made movies in Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, and Hindi. His first movie as a director was “Punaradhivasam” in 2000. It won awards like the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam. Another one of his movies, “Nirnayakam” in 2015, also won a National Film Award for addressing important social issues.
He was born in Palaghat to a Malayali family, and now he lives in Bangalore. He went to the School of Drama in Thrissur before he started making ad films. He owns a company called Trends Adfilm Makers Pvt Ltd.
