Nicholaus Goossen, born on August 18, 1978, is a person who makes movies and takes pictures.
His first big movie was Grandma’s Boy, made for Happy Madison Productions and 20th Century Fox. He worked with Adam Sandler, who helped make Grandma’s Boy, on an album called Shhh…Don’t Tell. He wrote and helped produce the album, and even performed in one of the songs called “Gay Robot.”
Goossen also directed a music video for the first song from the album called “Secret.” The video has Adam Sandler and comedian Nick Swardson singing about the advantages of having neat private hair.
Before this, Goossen made a short film called A Day With the Meatball. It had Sandler in it again, but the focus was on his bulldog Meatball. The short film showed the dog going around different places until he ended up back with his owner. It was shown in theaters in 2002 as part of Sandler’s animated film Eight Crazy Nights.
Goossen helped make Sandler’s official website and directed some short films for the website.
In 2009, Goossen directed a horror movie called The Shortcut in Saskatchewan, Canada. It’s about two brothers who learn about a scary story involving a shortcut near their school.
In 2010, Goossen directed a special interactive billboard in Times Square for the store Forever 21. It got attention for being a creative project, but later, people noticed it was similar to a project done by Chris O’Shea in 2009.
In 2014, Goossen directed the video for the song “Human Sadness” by the American rock band Julian Casablancas + The Voidz.
In 2015, he directed comedy specials for Trevor Moore called High in Church and for Nick Swardson called Taste It.
