Julio Quintana is a writer and director who comes from Austin, Texas. He is Cuban-American. Before becoming a filmmaker, he studied different religions at the University of Texas. Quintana learned a lot about making movies while working on films like The Tree of Life (2011) and To The Wonder (2012). He learned from Terrence Malick, who is a very famous director.
