Ali Abbas Zafar is a filmmaker from India. He makes movies, writes stories, and helps produce them too. Some of his famous films are Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011), Gunday (2014), Sultan (2016), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and Bharat (2019).

In his personal life, Zafar went to Kirori Mal College in New Delhi. He got married to Alicia Zafar, who is from Iran but lives in France, on January 4, 2021.

Zafar started his career in the film industry by helping other directors. Later, he directed his first movie, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011), a romantic comedy. This movie is about a young man who helps find a bride for his brother but ends up falling in love with her.

One of his successful films is Sultan (2016), a sports drama starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma. It’s about a wrestler from Haryana who falls in love with a female wrestler.

Another hit movie by Zafar is Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), a thrilling action movie with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. They play secret agents who have to save nurses from militants.

Zafar also made a web series called Tandav, a political drama starring Saif Ali Khan. It’s available on Amazon Prime Video since January 15, 2021.

Currently, Zafar is working on a new movie called Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. It’s set to be released on Eid in 2024.
