Zión was born on February 23, 1995, in El Paso, Texas. Her parents are from Mexico, and she grew up speaking Spanish at home. She has a sister and a brother. Zión is transgender, which means she transitioned to being a girl when she was 13 years old. In school, she faced bullying from other students.
When Zión was in college at the University of New Mexico, she got a scholarship. She wanted to be a writer and do journalism. But later, she moved to New York City to become a model when she was 19. It was hard for her at first, but then she started to like it more. She even won an award at a big event in Cannes, France.
