Youssef Kerkour is an actor who comes from Morocco and Britain. He is famous for playing a character named Sami, a Syrian refugee, in a funny and serious TV show called Home. He was even nominated for an award for this role.

When he was young, Youssef liked singing, dancing, and watching Bruce Lee movies with his dad. He really got into acting after seeing a play by William Shakespeare in England.

He moved to America for university but ended up focusing more on acting than studying psychology. After that, he went to acting school in London and worked with a famous theater group.

Youssef’s big break came when he got a part in Home, where he played a Syrian man living with an English family. This was different from the tough guy roles he usually got. He got nominated for an award for his performance.

Later, he starred in a movie directed by Ridley Scott and was in another one with Joaquin Phoenix.

Youssef is going to be in a movie based on the book The Alchemist. He’s married and has a young daughter. He loves drinking coffee in cafes in Soho.
