Upendra Limaye is an actor from India. He was born on November 8, 1969. He won a big award for acting in a Marathi movie called Jogwa. In April 2013, Forbes magazine said his acting in Jogwa was one of the best in Indian cinema history.
He grew up in Pune’s Sadashiv Peth. He’s married to Swati and they have two kids.
Upendra has acted in many different types of plays and movies. He’s been in Marathi films, TV shows, and also Hindi and South Indian movies. He’s worked with famous directors like Madhur Bhandarkar and Ram Gopal Verma.
He won a big award for his acting in Jogwa at the National Film Awards in 2010. He’s also been in other award-winning movies like ‘Mukta,’ ‘Bangarwadi,’ and ‘Chandni Bar.’
In 1988, Upendra and his friends started a theater group called ‘Parichay.’ Over the years, he acted in lots of different plays, both experimental and popular ones.
