Sofía Margarita Vergara Vergara is an actress and TV personality from Colombia and America. She was born on July 10, 1972. You might know her as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett from the TV show Modern Family, which she did from 2009 to 2020. She got nominated for Golden Globe Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards for that role. Because of this, she became one of the highest-paid actresses in America.
Before Modern Family, she became famous by co-hosting TV shows in Spanish on Univision in the late 1990s. Her first English acting job was in the movie Chasing Papi in 2003. After that, she appeared in other movies like Four Brothers, Meet the Browns, and Madea Goes to Jail. She also did voice roles in animated movies like Happy Feet Two, Escape from Planet Earth, and The Emoji Movie.
