Sheeba Chaddha is an actress from India who acts in movies, plays, and TV shows. She got nominated for the Filmfare Award because of her acting in the movies Badhaai Do and Doctor G in 2022. She won the award for Badhaai Do.
When Sheeba was young, she lived in Delhi. She liked acting and took classes to learn more about it. She studied English literature at Hans Raj College, which is part of the University of Delhi. Anurag Kashyap, a famous filmmaker, was her classmate.
She has been in many movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Parzania, Delhi 6, Luck by Chance, and Talaash. She also acted in a short film called Prakata Het Yad, which won an award. In 2012, she played a character named Nirmala in the movie Talaash: The Answer Lies Within. In 2015, she was praised for her role as Nain Tara Tiwary (Buaji) in Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
She appeared on TV for the first time in a show called Love Marriage in 2002. Then in 2007, she came back to TV and played a rich businessperson in Kasturi. After that, she was in shows like Na Aana Is Des Laado, Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Kahani Saat Pheron Ki, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, and Lakhon Mein Ek. In 2012, she joined the cast of Hitler Didi on Zee TV.
She also acts in plays. She has been in plays like C for Clown and The Blue Mug. She played Desdimona in a play called Othello in Black & White and the lead role in a play called Hedda Gabler.
She is part of a theater group called “The Company Theatre” in Mumbai. She is also working on a web series called Permanent Roommates with The Viral Fever (TVF).
