Raveena Tandon is an Indian actress who was born on October 26, 1972. She has acted in many Hindi movies. She has won awards like the National Film Award, Filmfare Awards, and Filmfare OTT Award. In 2023, she received the Padma Shri award, which is one of the highest honors in India.

Her father is a director named Ravi Tandon. Raveena started acting in 1991 with the movie “Patthar Ke Phool.” She got famous for her roles in action movies like “Dilwale,” “Mohra,” “Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi,” and “Ziddi.” She also acted in comedy movies with Govinda.

In the 2000s, she acted in different types of movies, including serious ones like “Daman” and “Aks.” She won awards for her performances in these movies.

Besides acting, Raveena cares about the environment and works with PETA. She has four children, two of whom she adopted.

Raveena was born in Bombay (now Mumbai) to Ravi Tandon and Veena Tandon. She went to Jamnabai Narsee School and Mithibai College in Mumbai. She started her career as a model and got her first movie offer while working as an intern at Genesis PR.

Raveena’s first movie, “Patthar Ke Phool,” was a hit, and she won an award for it. She acted in many successful movies throughout the ’90s and 2000s. She also worked on television shows.

In recent years, she appeared in movies like “Maatr” and the Netflix series “Aranyak.” She also had a role in the successful movie “K.G.F: Chapter 2.”

Raveena was the chairperson of the Children’s Film Society of India for a while but later resigned. She has been involved in social causes like supporting PETA. She was chosen as a delegate at the W20 summit in 2023.

Raveena adopted two girls in the ’90s. She was previously engaged to actor Akshay Kumar but later married film distributor Anil Thadani. They have two children together.
