Rajesh Sharma is an actor from India. He acts in movies made in Hindi and Bengali languages.
He was born in Ludhiana, India, and later worked in Kolkata. In Kolkata, he started acting in a group called ‘Rangakarmi’. He learned acting at the National School of Drama in New Delhi. Rajesh Sharma was first married to Sudipta Chakraborty, who is also an actress, but they later got divorced. Since 2011, he has been married to Sangeeta Sharma.
Rajesh Sharma started his career in Bollywood with the movie “Maachis” in 1996. Then, from the early 2000s, he began acting in Bengali films. In “Maachis,” he acted alongside other actors like Chandrachur Singh, Jimmy Shergill, Tabu, and Om Puri. He made a comeback in Bengali films in 2000 with “Paromitar Ek Din,” directed by Aparna Sen. Later, he returned to Bollywood with “Parineeta” in 2005, which was Vidya Balan’s debut film.
