Nick Blood, born on March 20, 1982, is an actor from England. He is famous for playing Lance Hunter in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Kieran in Trollied.
Early Life:
Nick Blood was born in Aylesbury, England. He started acting at his local drama club when he was 7 years old and decided he wanted to be an actor. He went to Wingrave C&E school and later attended Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School in Aylesbury. After that, he went to Cedars Upper School for A Levels and then to Bristol University. He got into acting through the ITV Drama Club and later studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Career – Film and Television:
Nick’s first acting role was in the 25th series of The Bill, where he played in a two-episode story about an armed robbery at a toy shop. He also played Alex, a gay flatmate and designer, in the BBC drama Material Girl (2010). In 2011, he appeared in the Channel 4 drama Misfits and was announced to play Kieran in the Sky1 sitcom Trollied. Nick left Trollied after Season 3.
He got his first feature film role as Davy Famous in Spike Island in 2012. In 2013, he appeared in the final season of Him & Her and in ITV’s mystery drama The Bletchley Circle. He became a regular on the second season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Lance Hunter.
Career – Theatre:
In 2009, Nick co-founded a theatre company called “WE. BUY. GOLD” and debuted with Inches Apart at Theatre503, winning the Old Vic New Voices Theatre503 Award. He made his professional stage debut in 2009 in The Priory at the Royal Court Theatre. In 2010, he performed in Women Beware Women at the National Theatre. In 2011, he played the lead role of Stuart Sutcliffe in Backbeat, a play about the early years of The Beatles.

Nick Blood is a lifelong supporter of Liverpool F.C.
