Mohammad Sarwar Mir is an actor from India. He has acted in Hindi movies like Kesari, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Jolly LLB 2.
Sarwar started acting with famous directors M K Raina and Bapi Bose in Delhi. He joined three workshops at the National School of Drama. He moved to Mumbai in 2014 and got roles in big movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Phantom. In Bajrangi Bhaijaan, he played the father of a lost Pakistani girl. Sarwar also helped make a Kashmiri movie called Kashmir Daily. He doesn’t charge money for his work in local movies to support filmmaking there. He recently directed a movie called BED NO.17 in Srinagar. Sarwar worked on Mani Ratnam’s Tamil movie Kaatru Veliyidai in 2017. He was in movies like Kedarnath, Kesari, and Hamid in 2018 and 2019. He has acted in web series like The Family Man and Bard of Blood. Sarwar played the main character in movies like Half Widow and Lihaaf. In Kesari, he played the bad guy. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Sarwar wrote and directed a prayer song called “Ya Khuda” with many veteran actors from J&K.
