Michael Keaton, whose real name is Michael John Douglas, was born on September 5, 1951. He is an actor from America. He’s famous for being in different kinds of movies. People have given him many awards, like a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. He was even named Officer of Order of Arts and Letters in France in 2016.

At first, he became known for funny movies like Night Shift (1982) and Mr. Mom (1983). But he became really famous when he played Batman in Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992). After that, he acted in lots of other films, such as Pacific Heights (1990) and The Other Guys (2010). He also did voice roles in animated movies like Cars (2006) and Toy Story 3 (2010).

In recent years, Michael Keaton’s career got even better. He acted in Birdman (2014) and won a Golden Globe Award. He also did well in Dopesick (2021), a limited series on Hulu, and won more awards. Besides acting, he directed two movies: The Merry Gentleman (2009) and Knox Goes Away (2023).

He was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in a big family. His dad was an engineer, and his mom took care of the home. He went to Montour High School and started studying speech at Kent State University.

In 2019, he appeared in a PETA ad, asking people not to visit places that use animals for entertainment, like roadside zoos.
