Maya Hawke(Maya Ray Thurman Hawke) is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and model. She was born on July 8, 1998, in New York City. Her parents are Hollywood actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman. Maya started her career as a model and then became an actress. She first appeared on screen as Jo March in the 2017 BBC adaptation of Little Women.
Maya is known for her role as Robin Buckley in the Netflix series Stranger Things. She has also acted in movies like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Fear Street Part One: 1994, Do Revenge, and Asteroid City. As a singer, she has released albums called Blush (2020) and Moss (2022).
In her early life, Maya faced challenges with dyslexia, which made her change schools often. Eventually, she found her passion for acting in an artistic school. She started her acting journey by playing Jo March in Little Women. She also attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York.
