Manoj Bajpayee is an Indian actor. He mostly acts in Hindi movies, but he has also acted in Telugu and Tamil films. He has won many awards for his acting, including three National Film Awards, six Filmfare Awards, and two Asia Pacific Screen Awards. In 2019, he received the Padma Shri, which is a big honor in India, for his work in art.

He was born on April 23, 1969, in a small village called Belwa, near Bettiah city in Bihar, India. Manoj wanted to become an actor since he was a child. He moved to Delhi when he was seventeen years old and wanted to study acting at the National School of Drama. But they rejected him four times. He kept doing theater while he was in college.

Manoj started his acting career with small roles in movies. But he got famous for his role as a gangster in the movie Satya in 1998. After that, he acted in many successful films like Raajneeti and Gangs of Wasseypur. He has also acted in some short films and web series.
