Leon Russom is an American actor who has been in many TV shows and movies. He was in soap operas and played roles in Star Trek. Later in his career, he was in shows like Bones, Jericho, Prison Break, and Cold Case. He also worked with the Coen brothers in movies like The Big Lebowski and True Grit.
Early in his career, he acted in soap operas like Guiding Light and Love is a Many Splendored Thing. He played a role in Another World for several years. He also appeared in movies like The Trial of the Catonsville Nine and Stephen King’s Silver Bullet, as well as TV shows like Mission: Impossible.
In 1991, Leon Russom got nominated for an Emmy for his work in the TV movie Long Road Home. In his later years, he acted in dramas, often in legal or crime shows. He was in L.A. Law, Law & Order, JAG, NYPD Blue, and many others. He played the police chief in The Big Lebowski and had a significant role in Prison Break as General Jonathan Krantz.
