Christopher Catesby Harington, also known as Kit Harington, was born on December 26, 1986, in Acton, London, England. He’s an actor from England. You might recognize him as Jon Snow from the TV show Game of Thrones. He got nominations for a Golden Globe Award and two Primetime Emmy Awards for this role.

He studied at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2009, he started his acting career with a play called War Horse. He was the lead role in that. Later, he also acted in a TV series called Gunpowder, which he also produced.

His movies include Pompeii, Testament of Youth, and Eternals. He also did voice acting in the How to Train Your Dragon movies.

Kit Harington was born into a family with an interesting history. His parents are Sir David Harington and Deborah Jane. He’s related to historical figures involved in the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. He has Scottish ancestry through his father.
