Kenny Lucas and Keith Lucas, also known as The Lucas Brothers, are twins from America. They do comedy, act in movies, make films, write, and produce things together.
They wrote and made the movie “Judas and the Black Messiah” in 2021. They got nominated for big awards like the Academy Award and won some too. The movie got nominated for six Academy Awards.
Early on, they lived in Newark, New Jersey, and also spent time in High Point, North Carolina. Later, they moved to Irvington, New Jersey, and both went to Irvington High School.
After finishing college with good grades, they went to law school for a bit but then quit to do comedy full-time. They were even part of an honors society called Phi Beta Kappa.
Their comedy career started to get noticed in 2012 when they appeared on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.” They’ve been on TV, made their own animated show called “Lucas Bros. Moving Co.,” and even acted in movies like “22 Jump Street.”
Their first comedy special, “On Drugs,” came out on Netflix in 2017. It was ranked as one of the best comedy specials that year.
They’ve worked on many projects, including making more comedy for TV and being part of big movies like “Judas and the Black Messiah.” They’re even working on new projects with famous directors like Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Judd Apatow.
They’re well-known in the comedy world and perform regularly at places like the Comedy Cellar.
