Kalidas Jayaram is an actor from India. He usually acts in movies made in Malayalam and Tamil languages.
His parents are also actors, Jayaram and Parvathy. Kalidas started acting when he was seven years old in a Malayalam movie called “Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal” in 2000. He acted in another movie called “Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum” in 2003 and won an award for it.
In 2016, he acted in his first Tamil movie, “Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum.” Then in 2018, he came back to Malayalam cinema with a movie called “Poomaram,” which was written, co-produced, and directed by Abrid Shine.
Kalidas was born in Perumbavoor, Kerala, India, and has a younger sister named Malavika Jayaram. He went to school in Chennai and later studied Visual Communication at Loyola College, Chennai.
He is good at imitating other actors, just like his father. He became famous for his mimicry on a Vijay TV award show and in an advertisement for a chocolate brand.
