Julia Rose Lester was born on January 28, 2000, in the United States. She is an actress and a singer. Many people know her from her role as Ashlyn Caswell in the Disney+ show called High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. She’s also known for playing Little Red Riding Hood in the Into the Woods play that was back in 2022 on Broadway. She got nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in Into the Woods.
She grew up in Woodland Hills, CA. She went to Calabasas High School. Her family is into acting too. Her parents are Kelly and Loren Lester. Her grandparents are Helen and Peter Mark Richman. Her uncle is Lucas Richman. Julia has two sisters, Jenny and Lily, who are also in show business.
Julia is in a relationship with screenwriter Ilana Wolpert since 2022. She says she’s queer, which means she doesn’t only like people of the opposite gender. Her character in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series also came out as queer in the third season.
