Jermaine Fowler is an American actor, comedian, producer, and writer. You might know him from the movie Coming 2 America, where he played King Akeem Joffer’s son Lavelle Junson. He’s also been on a CBS TV show called Superior Donuts.

He grew up in Maryland with his twin brother and dropped out of college when he was 20. He moved to New York City and looked for a job during the day. At night, he did comedy at open mic events in Times Square.

From 2012 to 2015, he traveled around the country doing comedy shows at clubs and colleges. In 2013, he got a role in a show called Guy Code on MTV2 and made his own pilots. He starred in Friends of the People in 2014, which lasted for two seasons on TruTV. In 2015, he made his first comedy special, “Give ‘Em Hell, Kid,” and it was shown on Showtime.

In 2017, he became a big part of a TV show called Superior Donuts, where he was not only an actor but also an executive producer. The show did well and got a second season but was later canceled. He also had a part in HBO’s Crashing.

He did something cool in 2017 when he was the announcer for the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on September 17th.
