Jonathan Adam Saunders Baruchel is a Canadian actor. He is known for being the voice of Hiccup Haddock in the How to Train Your Dragon movies. He’s also been in funny movies like Knocked Up, Tropic Thunder, and She’s Out of My League. He acted in TV shows too, like Undeclared and Man Seeking Woman. He was born in Ottawa, Canada, in 1982. His mom is a writer, and his dad sells old things. He grew up in Montréal and has a younger sister. His family has some Jewish background, along with French and Irish roots.
Baruchel started acting when he was young. He got his big break on a TV show called My Hometown. He’s been in lots of movies since then, like Million Dollar Baby and This Is the End.
