Janki Bodiwala is an Indian actress from Ahmedabad, India. She mostly acts in movies made in the Gujarati language. People know her for her roles in movies like Chhello Divas (2015), Tamburo (2017), Chhutti Jashe Chhakka (2018), Bau Na Vichar (2019), and Vash (2023).

Early Life

Bodiwala was born on October 30, 1995, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Her parents are Bharat and Kashmira Bodiwala. She has a brother named Dhrupad Bodiwala. She went to M K Secondary & Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad for her schooling. Later, she studied Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science in Gandhinagar. She also took part in the Miss India 2019 competition and was one of the top 3 finalists from Gujarat.

Career

Bodiwala started her acting career in the Gujarati movie industry with the film Chhello Divas, which came out in 2015. It was written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. The movie did well both critically and commercially. After that, she acted in movies like O! Taareee (2017), Tamburo (2017), Daud Pakad (2017), Chhutti Jashe Chhakka (2018), Tari Maate Once More (2018), and Bau Na Vichaar (2019). In 2022, she acted in Naadi Dosh directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. Her performance in Vash (2023) was highly praised, and the movie was a big hit. In 2024, she is set to make her debut in Bollywood movies, starring alongside Ajay Devgn, Jyothika, and R. Madhavan in the remake of Vash, where she will play the same character she did in the original movie.
