Jaikishan Kakubhai Shroff, also known as Jackie Shroff, is an actor from Mumbai, India. He has been in many movies for over 40 years. He has acted in more than 220 movies in 13 different languages. Jackie has won four Filmfare Awards. People consider him one of the best actors in Indian movies during the 1980s and 1990s.

Jackie started his acting career with a small role in a movie called Swami Dada in 1982. His first big role was in the hit movie Hero in 1983. After that, he became famous and acted in many successful movies like Karma, Ram Lakhan, and Parinda. He also played important roles in movies like Rangeela and Border.

In the 2000s, Jackie started doing different kinds of roles, like supporting roles or playing the bad guy. Some of his notable movies from this time include Mission Kashmir, Devdas, and Dhoom 3.

Apart from acting, Jackie cares about the environment. He is married to Ayesha Dutt, and they have two children, one of whom is actor Tiger Shroff.

Jackie was born on February 1, 1957, in Mumbai, India. His father was from Gujarat, India, and his mother was from Kazakhstan, which was part of the Soviet Union. Jackie’s family had a tough time financially when he was growing up. After finishing 11th grade, Jackie had various odd jobs but couldn’t find success. Eventually, he got into modeling and later acting, with his big break coming in 1983 with the movie Hero.

Jackie started his career with modeling and then moved into acting. He appeared in his first movie, Swami Dada, in 1982. His breakthrough came with Hero in 1983, which made him a star. He continued to act in many successful movies in the following decades, gaining fame and recognition.

Apart from movies, Jackie has also been on television. He hosted shows like Lehrein and Chirtrahar. He also judged India’s Magic Star. In 2019, he made his digital debut with the series Criminal Justice.
