Iain Glen is a Scottish actor who was born on June 24, 1961. He’s been in movies and TV shows. You might know him as Dr. Alexander Isaacs/Tyrant in some Resident Evil movies (from 2004 to 2016) and as Jorah Mormont in Game of Thrones on HBO (from 2011 to 2019). He’s also done other important roles in films and TV, like winning an award for his role in Silent Scream in 1990.

Besides acting in movies and TV, Glen is good at acting on stage too. He’s been in different theater plays, playing big roles in Shakespeare’s plays like Hamlet, Macbeth, and Henry V. He got nominated for awards for his roles in various plays.

Glen was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and went to the Edinburgh Academy. After that, he went to the University of Aberdeen. He learned acting at RADA in London and graduated in 1985.

His acting career started with the movie Paris by Night in 1988. He also starred in Gorillas in the Mist in the same year. He won an award in 1990 for Silent Scream. Glen has been part of many movies, TV shows, and theater plays throughout his career. Some of them include Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Downton Abbey, and Titans.
