Havana Rose Liu (born September 30, 1997) is an American actress, model, dancer, activist, and designer. She is best known for her modeling and her lead role in the comedy film Bottoms.

Liu was born and grew up in Brooklyn. Her parents, Carley Roney and David Liu, started the wedding planning website The Knot, which is now called The Knot Worldwide. Liu has two younger siblings. Her mother is of European descent, and her father is of Chinese descent. She started dancing as a child. Liu studied art, activism, and wellness at New York University and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Before being discovered on the street, Liu did not plan to become an actress. In September 2020, she was on the cover of Vogue Italia.

Liu got her first movie role in 2019 and debuted in 2021 with a supporting role in the action drama film Mayday. That same year, she also appeared in the Netflix comedy-drama series The Chair. In 2022, Liu starred in two films: a supporting role in the romantic drama The Sky Is Everywhere and a lead role in the thriller No Exit, where she played Darby, a recovering drug addict. Her performance in No Exit was praised even though the film received mixed reviews. Next, she starred in Emma Seligman’s comedy film Bottoms, about two lesbian high school girls who start a fight club to meet other girls, alongside Rachel Sennott, Ayo Edebiri, and Kaia Gerber.

Liu identifies as pansexual. She shared this at the 2023 SXSW Film & TV Red Carpet event for the world premiere of her film, Bottoms.
