Harriet Slater was born on 28 November 1994 in Leicester, England. She is an actress and has acted in popular shows like Pennyworth (2019–2022) and the period drama Belgravia: The Next Chapter (2024). She received recognition as a “Bright Young Thing” by Tatler in 2023.

Harriet grew up in Leicester and started acting at a young age, joining a local theater group called the Little Theatre when she was 6. She later studied acting at the Guildford School of Acting, graduating in 2016.

After finishing drama school, Harriet began her career in regional theater. Her first professional role was in The Man with the Hammer at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth in 2016. She then appeared in various productions, including Vice Versa at the Swan Theatre in 2017 and The Secret Seven at Storyhouse.

Harriet made her debut on television in the DC Universe series Pennyworth, where she played Sandra Onslow. The show premiered on Epix in 2019, and she became a main cast member for the following two seasons. She also starred in the indie fantasy film Emily and the Magical Journey in 2020 and had a small role in the 2023 film Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

In 2014, Harriet played Clara Trenchard (née Dunn) in the period drama Belgravia: The Next Chapter for MGM+. She has upcoming roles in the films Tarot (also known as Horrorscope) and True Haunting.
